Snow Queen

This is a short fan fiction piece about the snow queen of Hans Christian Andersen's tale by the same name. The story is told from the perspective of the snow queen and has been dramatically shortened.
As pleasant as it is to read I don't think it works particularly well as a piece of fan fiction because it is a completely lazy regurgitation of an amazing piece of work written by one of the best fairytale/ folktale writers. Ever.

The obligatory Harry Potter post

This piece is a diversion of the Harry Potter universe. It focusses on Bellatrix and Narcissa Black before they were married to become Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy. They are both still in school at hogwarts and haven't committed any heinous crimes yet. They have an abusive mother who is obsessed with the idea of pure bloods and keeping their family line pure. Bellatrix is the older of the two and in this story experiments with her sexuality and Narcissa is an impressionable 11 year old who loves and idolizes her sister. The lines of familial love and sexual love are blurred between the two when Bellatrix  kisses Narcissa. And the story from there on out holds the tension caused by this.

Admittedly I have only read up to chapter six, but each chapter is quite lengthy and there looks like there are quite a few chapters. I found that the fanfiction itself was particularly well written and detailed. It explores a hidden alley in the Harry Potter universe and it's an exceptional example of how authors use fanfiction to delve into the part of the world they want to and exhibit their real fantasies in a relatively safe environment. You will find that a lot of M rated fanfiction will not only look at sexuality but experiment with taboo sexualities such as incest.

Also a very short summary of a classic tale, basically just rewritten from the bears perspective as opposed to an outside narrator.

Alice.

Alice Unlocked is a 10 chapter story about a girl called Alice who is in a romantic entanglement with multiple characters within the story. The hatter is just released from a psychiatric ward by alice at the beginning of the story. Hatter an ex drug dealer and Alice, a recovering addict.
